The cover fits into the OEM triple clamp of all S 1000 RR models as well as the HP4 and allows the mounting of the ON/OFF switch (see Electronics -->Accessories ) instead of the standard ignition lock. Due to the recessed mounting position, the ON/OFF switch is also very well protected in case of a crash.
